<p>SUMMARY OF THE POSITION<br>Person who coordinates, manages and supervises the activities of analysis, implementation, evolution, implementation, support and operational support of projects concerning complex, multi-site and related to all sectors of the organization. He/She is an expert in her field of specialization. </p><p>SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:</p><p>The Cree Board of Health and Social Services of James Bay (CBHSSJB) has just created an IT Project Management Office (IT/PMO) in order to make sure the projects are carried out smoothly and that the management is efficient. In such a context the PMO managers wishes to offer the IT project managers a coordination support for the technical portions related to the IT projects.</p><p>Under the supervision of the coordinator PMO and the Team Leader, this individual will be part of the IT/PMO team and his/her main role will be to carry out the technical development tasks.</p><ul><li>Identification of the list of IT equipment needed for projects and its administrative management;</li><li>Documentation of current and future IT infrastructure;</li><li>Creation of server / telecom room rack layout diagrams;</li><li>Creation of server / telecom room floor plan layouts;</li><li>Creation of fibre optic, CAT6, and telephony cabling plans;</li><li>Creation of standards and documentation to help the project managers.</li></ul><p>REQUIREMENTS<br>Education: * Bachelor degree in computer science.</p><p>Experience:</p><ul><li>Five (5) years of relevant professional experience.</li></ul><p>In the absence of a candidate matching the above-mentioned requirements, a candidate with a collegial diploma in a<br>relevant discipline with eight (8) years of appropriate experience may be considered.</p><p>Knowledge and Abilities:</p><ul><li>Excellent knowledge of MS Products and applications, Windows, etc.;</li><li>Experience in documenting application configurations and design;</li><li>Experience with application network equipment's;</li><li>Knowledge of network management platforms and tools;</li><li>Knowledge of the MSSS applications is an asset;</li><li>Project management abilities;</li><li>Suppliers/Vendors and consultants coordination;</li><li>Knowledge of Cisco switches and routers;</li><li>Knowledge of HPe servers;</li><li>Knowledge of VoIP solutions;</li><li>Knowledge of the health network is considered as an asset;</li><li>Capable of working in a complex technological setting in constant transformation;</li><li>Team spirit, autonomy and client orientated thinking;</li><li>Excellent written communication and presentation skills;</li><li>Ability to popularize, ability to express his/her thoughts, to influence and convince;</li><li>Motivation and strong determination to produce results in order to meet the organization's need;</li><li>Strong capabilities in verbal and written communication;</li><li>Capability to establish priorities and work under pressure;</li><li>Ability to express him/herself clearly verbally and in writing;</li><li>Have a good sense of responsibilities.</li></ul><p>LANGUAGE* Fluent in French and English;* Fluency in Cree is an asset.</p><p>OTHER* Available to travel inside and outside of the Eeyou Istchee territory as required;* Possibility of telework.<br>This position offers the possibility of telework, depending on operational needs and after agreement with the employer.
