*Overview*
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our office, ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This position is essential for maintaining smooth communication within the office and with clients, particularly in a dental or medical setting.
*Responsibilities*
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all information is up-to-date in our computerized systems.
* Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering phone calls with professionalism and courtesy.
* Utilize phone systems to handle incoming and outgoing calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel as needed.
* Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for staff members.
* Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents to ensure easy retrieval of information.
* Support financial operations by assisting with invoicing and basic bookkeeping using QuickBooks or similar software.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure that all office supplies are stocked and ordered as necessary.
* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience as an office clerk or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
* Familiarity with dental or medical office environments is a plus but not required.
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Proficiency in using computer software for data entry, including Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Attention to detail is essential for maintaining accurate records and files.

Pay: $16.50-$17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 ? 40 per week
