The Cogir Foundation supports projects and causes grouped under four main areas: youth, seniors, cultural diversity, and the environment. *\*Part-time, 2-3 days per week.* *Purpose of the position :* Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Technician will be called upon to work as part of a dynamic team to support the property accountants in their daily work. The incumbent must be organized and have a proven ability to manage a high volume of information and requests from multiple players with the same quality of work while respecting tight deadlines and working autonomously. *More precisely, your daily life with us will be like :* * Prepare monthly bank reconciliations * Prepare accounting entries * Reconcile certain balance sheet items and update continuity schedules * Prepare billing pre-lists * Reconcile sales taxes and file returns * Prepare various financial reports * Answer questions from internal and external customers * Participate in various special projects * All other related tasks *Ideal candidate :* * Strong interpersonal skills, including a proven ability to establish and maintain good rapport * Responsible, dilligent, committed, motivated, reliable, respectful of commitments * Dynamic, positive, creative, willing to improve processes * Demonstrate initiative, autonomy, and resourcefulness * Keen to learn and develop professionally * Excellent judgment, able to make decisions and solve problems in a context of ambiguity * Be a team player and play an important role in the team *Qualifications required:* * Minimum 3 years relevant experience * Strong interpersonal skills, including proven ability to establish and maintain good rapport * Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook * Knowledge of Hopem software (an asset)Form *What Cogir will offer you:* * Competitive salary * Free parking * Career opportunities * Flexible start and end hours * Exciting challenges that match your ambitions!
