Your role will combine customer service with essential security protocols to protect both the premises and its patrons. *Key Responsibilities:* * Proactively prevent shoplifting, particularly in high-theft areas. * Identify and address instances of trespassing, enforcing the Trespass to Property Act as necessary. * Conduct thorough patrols and monitor designated areas within the retail space. * Investigate and report security breaches, incidents, and concerning behaviors. * Record observations, incidents, and surveillance activities in detailed reports. * Provide customer service-oriented interaction with patrons while enforcing security protocols. * Identify and respond to potentially harmful or disruptive behavior. * Escalate situations and assist law enforcement when needed. * Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security matters. *Qualifications:* * Valid Ontario security license. * Previous security experience, preferably in a retail setting, is an asset. * *Must have a minimum 2 years of security experience.* * Physical capability to stand for 10-12 hours. * Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. * Excellent customer service skills with an alert, responsive demeanor. * Ability to remain calm and act effectively in emergency situations. *Be a part of a security agency that?s transforming the industry!* Synergy Protection Group Inc. values diversity and is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
