MGBHLM First Nation is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Officer to join our team and support our Human Resources recruitment, onboarding, performance management and HR administration. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional looking to grow their career in a supportive environment. RESPONSIBILITIES -Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks;-Coordinate new employee onboarding activities, including paperwork, orientation sessions, and training arrangements;-Support the development and implementation of recruitment and onboarding best practices to attract and retain top talent;-Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulations;-Prepare HR-related documents, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and HR policies and procedures;-Assist with benefits administration, and other HR administrative tasks as needed.-Update and track absences from work such as sick days, leave of absences, vacation days and overtime accruals;-Answer employees questions and provide requested information;-Liaise with external partners, Band members and Band Representatives (School, Daycare, Public Works Shop and Band Members;-Perform other related duties as required by the HR Manager.- LocationVarious locationsGrizzly Bear's Head 110 and Lean Man 111, , SKMosquito 109, , SK
