Our maxim is: ?*Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.?* In short, we treat all employees as family and we respect that each team member, regardless of his or her function or title, is equally important to the company. *JOB PURPOSE* The Shipping Clerk is responsible for picking, packing, and preparing stock or products for shipping and receiving parts or products and transporting them to the correct storage location within our facilities. This role is integral to our success and is perfect for an energetic and dedicated candidate who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. The shipping Clerk role is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in inventory management, computerized ERP systems, and logistic coordination. *DUTIES* *& RESPONSIBILITIES* * Work safely and productively and report any safety issues * Coordinate both local and international shipments through several different transport companies, arranging for efficient delivery and pickup * Prepare various documentation such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials * Perform general physical activities to load, unload, sort, and move shipments either by hand or using material handling equipment * Compare shipment contents to pick sheet and packing slips/invoices to verify the accuracy of shipments * Scanning product moves into our ERP system * Using the company vehicle to move products from one facility to another on a daily basis * Perform cycle counts and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies * Promote MPC's core values and actively contribute to a positive and rewarding team environment *QUALIFICATIONS* * One year of experience operating a forklift preferred * Valid Class G driver's license * Minimum of one year of related work experience * Proficient in MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.) * Experience with ERP systems is considered an asset * Excellent attendance habits * Extremely reliable * Outstanding time management skills *WHAT WE OFFER:* * Our Culture, MPC | Molded Precision Components thrives on integrity, collaboration, and innovation, and we are proud to be one of Waterstone Human Capital's _Canada's Most Admired Corporate Cultures. _We work hard to ensure we provide an environment where our valued Team Members can go from surviving to thriving * We have a real family-style atmosphere in our facility, and we love to have BBQs, golf tournaments, bike club and bowling (just to name a few!) * Medical benefits, Dental benefits, Vision care benefits and life insurance * RRSP Matching * Access to our on-site fitness center * Clean, safe and stable working environment *WANT TO GET A BETTER LOOK AT MPC?
