*Title: *Janitor *Reports to: *Office & Finance Manager *Location: *Fort McMurray, AB *Job Site: *MML 1935 Head Office *Position Summary:* The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for employees, members and visitors alike. This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible, part-time work 3 hours a day Monday- Friday. *Responsibilities* * Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in assigned areas. * Sanitize and clean offices, restrooms, board rooms, kitchen and other common areas. * Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners as needed. * Restock supplies, such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap. * Organize and tidy storage areas. * Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces to maintain health and safety standards. * Report any maintenance or repair needs to the office manager. * Follow all safety protocols and use cleaning supplies responsibly. * Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure storage areas are organized * Other duties as required *Basic Qualifications* * Previous experience in a janitorial or cleaning role preferred but not required. * Ability to work independently and efficiently within a set schedule. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Good communication skills and a positive attitude. * Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform physical tasks related to cleaning *Preferred Qualifications* * Metis Nation of Alberta (MNA) qualified status Job Type: Part-time Schedule: * Evening shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person- LocationFort McMurray, AB
