We are currently looking for an *Accountant* to join our team in a full-time, permanent position. Your positive attitude, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills will be essential to your success in this position. *What you will be working on:* · Reviewing, keeping track of CCDC contracts, and following up with customers on the status · Prepare and process invoices related to service and monitoring · Posting, reconciling, and paying vendor bills · Prepare journal entries · Assisting the Finance Manager as needed with month-end, year-end activities · Maintaining company files and databases · Providing administrative support to all team members · Assist in compiling contract billings, managing change orders and subcontracts *Who are we looking for?* Essential Qualifications: · A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience · Experience with reconciliation, journal entries, month-end processes · Experience working with QuickBooks · High level of integrity and professionalism · Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail · Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written · Must be self-motivated with exceptional time management · Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively · Strong computer skills, specifically Excel and Outlook · Able to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment Additional, 'nice to have' Qualifications: · Experience with Payroll Processing · Progress invoicing experience · Construction experience · CCDC and Statutory Declaration experience · Vendor portal experience *What we offer:* · Competitive salary · Health, vision and dental coverage · RRSP matching program · Quarterly bonus based on company performance · Corporate gym membership discount · On-site parking · Learning opportunity and career advancement · A culture built on teamwork, diversity, and trust Your growth and development are very important, and Bond Securcom is greatly invested in supporting the continued learning of its employees.
