Rinker Materials, a QUIKRETE Company is the nation?s largest manufacturer of concrete pipe, box culvert, precast and related products.. Rinker Materials operates more than 70 facilities, with products available throughout the U.S. and Eastern Canada. The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications: * Successfully operate a forklift (from 4,000lbs. to 55,000lbs.) * Must complete daily inspection of forklift and corresponding written documentation. * Effectively handle concrete products without causing damage to personnel, product, or property. * The incumbent needs to be able to work flexible schedule * Successfully take and pass lift truck operation course and assessments. * Must maintain safety practices and adhere to Company safety guidelines at all times, maintain a clean work area, free of safety hazards. * Must have 3 to 6 months of larger forklift or heavy equipment experience. * Previous concrete experience desired but not required. * Ability to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures both written and oral. * Be required to read the load slip and signing off the load slip when the product has been loaded. * Must be able to read drawings for man-hole products * Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently. * Any other tasks that may be assigned. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $17.40-$24.15 per hour Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In person- LocationOttawa, ON
