Laser Metal Profiles Ltd is a state- of- the - art facility that specializes in Laser Cutting, Plasma Oxy-fuel Cutting, Forming, Machining and Welding (CWB Certified). LMP LTD is seeking qualified candidates for our Material Handler/Shipper role who have a desire for long term success for a rapidly growing company. *Your role as a Material Handler will require:* · Minimum 5 years of experience in the forklift and manufacturing field · read blue prints and drawings to determine the material to set up each machine · Confirm the material grade and heat numbers match the jobs · Proficient in organizing daily priorities · Responsibility to organize, tag, and maintain the stock of raw materials · Effective communication with management and team members across all shifts · Responsible for maintaining production on your assigned laser *Job Description* · Set up machines with raw material for upcoming jobs ·Remove completed jobs and put them in the staging area ·Make sure all skids are properly labelled before removing from laser area · Assist shipping department on preparing orders, receiving raw material · Maintain house keeping and maintenance of forklifts and shop floor *Benefits* · Competitive wages · Employee incentives · Excellent health benefits · Company provided training · Growth opportunities` Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Overtime Work Location: In person- LocationCambridge, ON
