We are continuing to grow, introducing new products, making technological investments, and implementing innovative marketing strategies. </span></p><p><span>We are also focused on our people -- our most important resource. </span></p><p><span>At<strong> Daiken North America LTD</strong> we believe in transparency, open communication, and rewarding success with a path to fully develop your potential while building a career.</span></p>Responsibilities:<ul><li><span>Work to be performed within the guidelines of the ?Ontario Electrical Code?, Government Regulations, Panolam?s ?Current Practices? & Health & Safety Policies.</span></li><li><span>Be involved in ?Continuous Improvement Projects?.</span></li><li><span>Must be capable of working & troubleshooting on A-B PLC?s , AC/DC drives.</span></li><li><span>Self-motivated.</span></li><li><span>Able to work in a ?team? environment.</span></li><li><span>Maintain accurate records & write/print legibly.</span></li><li><span>Perform repairs on equipment.</span></li><li><span>Identify work order priorities for shutdowns.</span></li><li><span>Strong interpersonal & organizational skills.</span></li><li><span>Strong team leadership skills.</span></li><li><span>Must have excellent communication skills.</span></li><li><span>Good computer skills required.</span></li></ul><p><span>Specific Targets:</span></p><ul><li><span>Completion of work within budgetary guidelines.</span></li><li><span>Control safety.</span></li><li><span>Track machine availabilities & efficiencies.</span></li><li><span>Diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic system faults.</span></li><li><span>Carrying out electrical maintenance procedures.</span></li><li><span>Tuning equipment and ensuring that adequate controls and safety measures are functional.</span></li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li><span>3+ years of experience.</span></li><li><span>Industrial Electrician Certification 309A.</span></li><li><span>Electrical Engineering Technologist with 309A would be an asset.</span></li><li><span>Good knowledge of PLC programming and troubleshooting.</span></li><li><span>Good communication skills in English (verbal & written)</span></li><li><span>Working knowledge of Hydraulics and Pneumatics.</span></li><li><span>Able to work at heights using ladders and scissor lifts.</span></li><li><span>Good mechanical trouble shooting skills.</span><
