Education: No degree, certificate or diploma. Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Dry pea and bean farming. Hay farming. Livestock combination farming. Oilseed (except soybean) farming. Other grain farming. Other miscellaneous crop farming. Wheat farming. Dangerous. Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Odours. Outdoors. Grain, oil and forage crop. Livestock. Work setting: Rural area. Tasks: Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for crop growth and development. Cut agricultural crops. Develop specific plans to prioritize. Diagnose livestock health issues. Direct farm feed inventory activities . Handling animals. Implement soil fertility programs. Monitor the calving process. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production records. Maintain work records and logs. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
