*Job Title: *310T Mechanic *Location:* Orangeville, ON *Wage:* Starting at $35 per hour *Shift Options:* * 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM * 2:00 PM - 10 PM - *shift premium:* $1 per hour *Key Responsibilities:* * Perform repairs and preventive maintenance services. * Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment. * Use vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes for repairs. * Complete all work within Standard Repair Times (SRTs). * Respond to emergency breakdowns with service calls. * Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment. * Complete necessary paperwork using fleet maintenance software for repairs, documenting parts usage, and tracking repair times. * Review and address repairs noted in Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. * Perform other maintenance-related tasks as required. *Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:* * High school diploma or GED equivalent. * Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in automotive, truck, or light/heavy equipment maintenance and repair, or completion of a vocational technical school program. * Must hold a valid 310T license. * Valid driver?s license required. *Benefits:* * Medical and dental coverage with an industry-leading benefits package. * RRSP matching to support your future goals. * Opportunities for professional growth and development. * Participate in community-focused Full-Cycle Project initiatives Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00-$41.00 per hour Expected hours: 44 per week Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Dental care * Paid time off Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * Evening shift * Monday to Friday Education: * Secondary School (required) Experience: * Mechanic experience: 3 years (required) * Electrical experience: 3 years (required) * Automotive diagnostics: 4 years (required) Licence/Certification: * truck and coach technician (required) * 310T (required) Work Location: In person- LocationVaughan, ON
