*\*\*\*\* Competitive Wages, Benefits, Pension\*\*\*\** Royal Building Supplies is seeking an experienced Counterbalance *Lift Truck Operator*. Previous experience in a similar position and knowledge of building supplies would be an asset. *Candidates must have drywall handling experience *and well developed communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills. You will also be a team player, able to operate effectively and safely in a fast paced, multitask oriented environment. *Responsibilities:* * Load/unload materials in a safe manner, material handling * Check invoices to verify proper quantities * Prepare orders to be shipped * Fill customer orders according to invoices * Customer Service * Sign and date customer orders * Stock handling, manually lifting over 50kg at times * Report damaged material or equipment to supervisor * Set-up racking * Daily Circle Check for Forklift truck * Advise Supervisor of low inventory levels * Operate equipment in a safe manner * Proper conduct and respect when interacting with fellow employees * Work inside and outdoors, all season weather * Adhere to Company Health and Safety Policies and Procedures * Housekeeping mandatory * Any duty your Supervisor deems necessary Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $25.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Company pension * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking Flexible language requirement: * French not required Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Morning shift Experience: * Forklift: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Forklift Licence (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationToronto, ON
