Various scheduling possibilities available between 9 am and 10 pm within our 7-day week, as well as flexibility in the amount of weekly hours. We deliver food, flowers, pharmaceuticals, groceries, small building supplies, etc. Experience is an asset but not required. A good fit for those seeking a second income, the semi-retired and students. Day shifts have more flower and pharmaceutical deliveries and evening shifts are majority food delivery. Full day shifts possible. 8-55 hour/ week For food, since payment is usually processed at the door, drivers can influence their tips with their customer service unlike with some of the delivery apps. In general, there is more of a personable interaction at both the pick-up and the drop-off compared to an app job. Respectful working environment with fair and courteous management, dispatchers and clients. Experienced dispatchers design logical and efficient routes. Long-term relationship possible. *New: *no delivery-log responsibility. We do that for you. *Responsibilities & requirements* -your own vehicle (no gas guzzlers) -a cash float (especially for evenings. We can help with this at the beginning) -accept payment on some deliveries by debit machine or cash. Make change for customers. -neat appearance and manners -excellent driving record -comfortable driving in the rain, dark (if seeking evening shifts) and, occasionally, messy winter roads. 95% of shifts are dry pavement roads even in winter -communicate effectively and courteously with clients, customers and dispatch -follow pick-up and drop-off sequences designated by the dispatcher -note that it is not possible to do app deliveries while on a shift with us. *Preferences* -G license -stable work history -employment reference from a current or recent job -live in town _Princess Delivery is a dedicated service open days and evenings, 7 days per week in our 20th year, with more than 800 000 deliveries completed. _ Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 8 ? 55 per week Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Morning shift Work Location: On the road- LocationKingston, ON
