Responsibilities: - Provide excellent customer service - Process cash, debit and credit card transactions at register using Point of Sale (POS) system - Assist in merchandising, displays and maintenance of the store?s cleanliness - Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions - Participate in general store upkeep including restocking, promotional changeover, inventory and pricing - Maintain records related to sales - Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise - Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock Qualifications: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Able to work independently and as a team member - Must be helpful and polite - Basic computer skills Other: - Physical ability to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder and to move and handle boxes and bags of merchandise (weighing up to 50 pounds) - This position is to cover a variety of shifts, mainly evenings and weekends.
