*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our food service operation, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that food preparation and sanitation standards are met. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. *Responsibilities* * Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately. * Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions with precision. * Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, kitchen, and dining space. * Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to guarantee food safety. * Assist in stocking supplies and managing inventory levels. * Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of food. * Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction. *Requirements* * Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. * Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards patrons. * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. * Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing. * Ability to perform food preparation tasks while adhering to safety guidelines. * Knowledge of sanitation practices and food handling procedures is a plus. * Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
