We are seeking Veterinary Technicians to join our privately owned emergency veterinary hospital. We will be offering out of hours services on a triage basis. It is important to EVHC that we have a team of self-motivated individuals who see the value of working as a team to serve our clients and patients at the highest level. We will be offering a competitive wage to compensate successful applicants with at least one year of experience who have the confidence and variability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to - Triaging emergencies - Nursing care of in hospital and outpatients - Anesthetizing and monitoring patients - Assisting in surgical procedures - Collecting and preparing samples and running diagnostic tests - Provide compassionate care to animals and support to their owners - Maintain accurate medical records for all patients Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Freelance Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour Additional pay: * Overtime pay Benefits: * Discounted or free food * Flexible schedule * On-site parking * Store discount Schedule: * 12 hour shift * 8 hour shift * Evening shift * Holidays * Night shift * Weekends only Experience: * veterinary technician: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person- LocationCollingwood, ON
