<em><strong>**Our client a manufacturer and distributor is looking to add a Quality Assurance Specialist to their team**<br><br></strong></em>Great opportunity to join a team oriented company with potential for growth.<br><br><strong>Job Details:<br></strong><ul><li>Responsible for the execution of existing quality control processes</li><li>Conduct incoming inspection of raw packaging materials and finished goods by comparing them against specifications and standards.</li><li>Must be capable of using analytical tools such as scales, callipers and other digital instruments</li><li>Support new product launches through package, transit and performance testing.</li><li>Maintain quality standards and procedures.</li><li>Track and report on Quality KPIs.</li><li>Reports to Director of Operations.</li></ul><strong>What They Offer:</strong><br><ul><li><strong>Day Shift: 8:00am - 4:00pm Monday to Friday</strong></li><li><strong>Pay Rate: $22.00-$25.00 an hour depending on exp.</strong></li><li><strong>4% Vacation Pay</strong></li><li><strong>Paid Stat Holidays</strong></li><li><strong>Potential to be hired on full time direct.</strong></li><li><strong>Great team oriented work environment</strong><strong></strong></li></ul> <br> <strong>Experience Required:<br></strong><ul><li>Minimum 2-3 years in a Quality Assurance/Quality Control role</li><li>Must be capable of using analytical tools such as scales, callipers and other digital instruments</li><li>Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal</li><li>Must be a team player</li><li>Experience with KPI's and reporting</li><li>Must have good MS Office exp including excel and reports</li><li>Must be willing to work overtime when required</li></ul><strong>Interested candidates should forward their resume to our recruitment team for consideration, only those candidates that qualify will be contacted.</strong>- LocationMississauga, ON
