*About us* The Hungry Donkey is a small business in Newmarket, ON AND Hamilton. We are professional, agile, and our goal is to provide the best Greek street food to our customers. . Our work environment includes: * Food provided We are looking for an experienced Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities include preparing ingredients, following recipes, and adhering to food safety standards. The successful candidate will be able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment and have excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities: * Follow recipes and presentation specifications. * Maintain a clean and sanitary work area. * Properly store food items at correct temperature. * Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion. * Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food before use. * Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 ? 38 per week Additional pay: * Tips Schedule: * Day shift * Evening shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * Grill Cooking: 2 years (required) Licence/Certification: * Food Handler Certification (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2024-11-11- LocationNewmarket, ON
