Dental Hygienist *Job Overview* We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and motivated Hygienist with great work ethics to help us care for our patients. Our commitment is for our employees to grow both personally and professionally while being fully supported along the journey. *What We're Looking For:* \* A dedicated dental hygienist who aligns with our values and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care \* Someone who is smart, initiative-taking, and ready to contribute to our dynamic team \* Someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills \* Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional environment \* Passion for oral health and a desire to make a lasting impact on patients' overall well-being *Duties:* - Perform dental cleanings to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth - Take dental x-rays and assist with other diagnostic procedures as needed - Conduct thorough oral examinations to assess the overall oral health of patients - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for maintaining good oral health - Assist the dentist during procedures by handing them instruments and ensuring patient comfort - Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical documentation and treatment plans - Follow strict infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff - Stay up to date with advancements in dental technology and techniques *Qualifications:* - Valid Dental Hygiene license in Ontario - Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program - Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and treatment options - Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures - Experience working in a dental office setting preferred - Familiarity with CAD software, medical imaging systems, and patient assessment tools is a plus - Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on oral health practices effectively - Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records - Commitment to following infection control protocols and maintaining a safe working environment We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
