DescriptionBachelor's degree in Urban Planning or a degree related to the functions specific to the position Minimum of four (4) years' progressively responsible related experience in areas including public policy implementation, economic development, policy and program development, grant administration, business development, community planning, recreation and/or community-based programs Skills required for success: Knowledge and experience in the principles and practices involved in project management and economic development Broad and demonstrated experience in handling projects or areas of specialization that are complex, highly sensitive and that have significant future impact Knowledge of standard statistical techniques and research methodology Knowledge of urban design, land use planning and control and/or other identified areas of specialization including principles and practices of winter city planning,- LocationEdmonton, AB
