We are tasked with the proposal, design, build, automation, implementation and L3 support of Data Protection technologies and, as needed, the re-engineering of existing technologies in the Security space. This will entail completion of low-level design, build, and preparation/documentation for hand over to operational support teams. The Engineer will be certifying the use of encryption on various technologies such as Databases, Storage and on various applications.This role will be responsible for solutions using technologies such as:Vormetric/CipherTrust Data At Rest EncryptionHardware Security Module (HSM) ? Thales, Entrust, Utimaco AttalaPKITechnical RequirementsThis role is looking for people with skills in as many of the below technology areas as possible:Expertise in Unix/Linux coupled with 7+ years in Database Engineering and/or Storage (SAN, NAS)Knowledge of various cryptographic and encryption technologies and standards (Symmetric/Asymmetric cryptography).Experience with either CipherTrust Manager and/or HSMsJob Requirements Minimum 7+ years in an engineering role in DB and or storage teams coupled with expertise on Linux working in a large enterprise. Experience certifying the encryption on various storage technologies (Databases, Storage and applications).Knowledge of various cryptographic and encryption technologies and standards (Symmetric/Asymmetric cryptography)In depth knowledge of various security controlsproven track record of successful implementations in a large enterpriseStrong analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills are essential.Excellent verbal and written communications skills are essential.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of personnel both internally and externally, e.g. leadership, executives, clients, vendors, and agencies.Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.Work closely & collaboratively with Internal Engineering, Deployment & Operations teams to drive design adoption across ITAbility to transfer knowledge to fellow team members.Ability to make engineering design decisions, efficiently build solutions, solves technical problems, and makes improvements to our systems.Who We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
