It has an active Pediatric Residency Program affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine; Memorial University of Newfoundland with most Pediatric subspecialtiesrepresented. Job Summary: NL Health Services are seeking a Pediatric Cardiologist, effective immediately. While ideally looking to fill a full-time position, we can accommodate a variety of scheduling options including locum trials with the option for extension. We are a full Pediatric Cardiology service that covers both inpatient and outpatient care, covering all facets of pediatric cardiology, as the only referral centre for the province of Newfoundland and Labrador. We are a 3-person practice, and well-supported by our colleagues in our surgical referral centers. Required Qualifications To be considered candidates must hold a MDMust hold certification by the Royal College Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (or equivalent) in Pediatric Cardiology or eligibility for certification in Pediatric CardiologyAll applicants must be eligible for licensure to practice by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of NL.Satisfy credentialing requirements of Newfoundland and Labrador Health services including a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector check. Remuneration : Remuneration is competitive and in accordance with the Newfoundland and Labrador Medical Association Memorandum of Agreement and MCP Fee Schedule.
