Richelieu Hardware is currently seeking a Territory Sales Representative for the Kelowna & Interior Region*.* Under the supervision of the Industrial Sales Manager, the Territory Sales Representative will ensure the development of new customers and the retention of existing customers. *Responsibilities* · Perform visits to customers; · Grow sales in the territory. · Build relationship with customers; · Improve sales by optimizing the product selection; · Update the merchandising and present new products; · Respond to inquiries about products and services; · Attend trade shows and sales meeting occasionally; · Prepare information packages and other necessary supporting materials; · Produce expense reports; · Maintain updated information for customer records, prospects, and service proposals; · Contribute to the improvement of the development strategy and marketing plan; · Continuously updating all customers on company product modifications, changes, and enhancements. *Requirements* · College Degree in Marketing or a related field, combined with relevant experience; · Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position; · Experience in wholesale distribution to industrial manufacturers with a focus on the secondary glazers, door and window shops, wood processing industry-residential/commercial casework, hospitality furniture, wood windows, kitchen cabinetry and architectural woodwork. Main focus to sell our glass hardware and board/sheet good solutions to our various customers · Excellent English communication (written and spoken); · Good computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook; · Self-motivated, detail oriented with good presentation skills; · Ability to work in a team; · Organized, autonomous, resourceful, hardworking; · This position requires to be visiting customers daily Compensation includes a base salary + commission, a car allowance, a group insurance program, and an Employee Share Purchase Plan.
