Job details
Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Tasks: Monitor patients and advise physician of any changes in patients' condition. Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions. Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, co-ordinate and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families. Conduct disease screening. Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment. Provide nursing care. Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail.
