Job details
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Tasks: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables. Set up and adjust production machineries/tools. Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments. Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances. Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers). Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools. Measuring tools: Micrometers. Callipers. Verniers. Equipment and machinery experience: Boring machines. Electrical discharge machine (EDM). Milling machines. Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines. Computer-aided design (CAD). Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently. Fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines. Repetitive tasks. Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Attention to detail. Overtime required. Personal suitability: Accurate. Dependability. Efficient interpersonal skills.
