This position will be under the guidance of the Director of Technology for Learning. <p>Please note: This position is also open to those teachers holding a Continuing Contract in RVS. <p>RVS supports the concept of teacher as designer of learning. As such we subscribe to the use of technology to advance our school initiatives. We utilize technology to creatively collaborate and inspire schools, administrators, and staff with their initiatives.<p>RVS is currently looking for an individual who embraces the principles of 21st Century teaching and learning. The successful candidate will utilize technology, design thinking and progressive pedagogy to create accessible, engaging and authentic learning opportunities for our students. The ideal candidate will embrace working collaboratively in a team environment. <p>Responsibilities for this position will include: <p><p> Support RVS educational technologies<p> Support innovative and emerging technologies<p> Support the use of assistive and augmentative technologies<p> Working with Design Thinking and Instructional Design<p> Working with the Making Learning Visible Initiative<p> Providing and conducting professional learning opportunities for staff<p> Graduate work in Education Technology will be considered an asset<p><p>The successful can didate must possess, or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
