We cover accounting, finance and payroll. <br> <br>I'm looking for an assistant controller for my client, a manufacturing company. This is a permanent position in Saint-Hyacinthe.</p><p>Essential tasks and responsibilities: <br>- Perform comparative analyses at the level of the various general ledger accounts. <br>- In charge of the short and long term budget process <br>- Ensure the integrity of fixed asset projects, inventories and databases. <br>databases <br>- Variance analysis, actual budget, MOD and FGS material <br>- Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and forwarding to head office <br>- Monthly tax returns <br>- Review project costs <br>- Customer invoicing, customer file follow-up <br>- Bank reconciliation and bank deposits <br>- Prepare annual audit <br>- Perform internal controls <br>- Supervise payable employee <br>- Payroll verification</p><p>Qualifications: <br>- Bachelor's degree in accounting science or equivalent experience, accounting designation an asset. <br>- 3 to 5 years experience. <br>- Excellent knowledge of the Office suite. <br>- Knowledge of MRP software is essential (Navision). <br>- Experience in a manufacturing environment. <br>- Bilingual: communication with the Chicago teams, you will be required to communicate regularly with them in English, both orally and in writing. <br>- Self-motivated. <br> <br>PROCEDURE: First interview with Fiona Moulin, recruitment consultant, then with the human resources generalist. <br>To apply: www.fedfinance.ca <br>To contact me: (438) 525 0279</p>
