*Overview* We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate heavy equipment when necessary. *Responsibilities* * Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods to designated locations. * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safe operation. * Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo. * Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries. * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. * Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation. * Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability. * Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment when required for loading/unloading tasks. *Requirements* * Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. * Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation. * Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. * Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus for maintaining vehicle performance. * Forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory; training may be provided. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the road. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
