Job details
Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work setting: On-site customer service. Various locations. Tasks: Inspect products to determine the requirements for repair. Install electronic equipment . Repair electronic equipment . Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies. Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components using hand, power or specially designed tools. Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults. Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning. Adjust, align, replace or repair electronic equipment and assemblies. Calibrate products using hand tools. Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports. Supervise other electronic equipment service technicians. Read blueprints and drawings. Provide customer service. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Electronic Technician Trade Certification - consumer products. Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) certification. Type of service and repair: Alarm/security system. Security and safety: Bondable. Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer. Willing to travel. Willing to travel regularly. Valid driver's licence.
