*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read and interpret schematics. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. If you are detail-oriented, have a passion for metalwork, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply. *Responsibilities* * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. * Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, and assembling materials according to design requirements. * Utilize various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) to join metal parts securely. * Operate power tools and machinery including forklifts and cranes safely and efficiently. * Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to specifications. * Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. * Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues that arise during the fabrication process. *Skills* * Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints. * Experience with machining processes is advantageous. * Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. * Familiarity with operating forklifts and other heavy machinery safely. * Competence in using power tools effectively for various tasks. * Knowledge of ductwork installation and fabrication techniques is a plus. * Ability to assemble components accurately while maintaining high-quality standards. * Experience using calipers for precise measurements is beneficial.
