Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Clean. Work setting: Esthetician's salon. Beauty shop or aesthetic service. Day spa. Spa. Tasks: Body care/treatments. Make custom designs for clients. Provide general information to customers on beauty products. Advise on beauty products suited to customers' colouring and skin type. Perform exfoliating body treatment. Apply make-up on customers. Apply or remove artificial nails and nail art. Clean, trim and polish nails. Eyebrow tinting. Apply make-up on models. Facials. Provide therapeutic foot massage. Maintain and build own clientele. Perform cashiering duties. Provide product demonstrations. Schedule and confirm appointments. Sell establishments products. Manicures. Pedicures. Relaxation massage. Skin care. Waxing. Refer clients with unusual skin conditions to physicians. Eyebrow threading. Eyelash extensions. Provide customer service. Clean and maintain work space. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Beauty treatment operator's provincial licence. Manicurist's provincial licence. Skin care specialist's provincial licence. Esthetician certification. Area of work experience: Cosmetician/cosmetologist. Esthetician. Manicurist. Pedicurist. Nail and lashes applicator.
