*Job Title:* Child Worker - Foster Home (Scarborough, ON) *Location:* Scarborough, ON *Hours:* Up to 112 hours per month *Job Summary:* We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Child Worker to join our foster home team in Scarborough. This role is essential in supporting the well-being and development of infants and children placed in foster care. The successful candidate will work closely with foster parents and our service team to ensure each child's needs are met. *Key Responsibilities:* * Supervise and care for infants and children * Initiate and participate in educational and developmental activities * Engage children in community activities * Prepare meals and assist with feeding routines * Help with bedtime routines and provide respite for foster parents * Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe, nurturing environment * Communicate children's progress and concerns to foster parents and the service team * Occasionally drive children to appointments or family visits as needed *Qualifications:* * Child and Youth Worker Diploma * Experience working with children, especially in foster care or residential settings, is an asset * Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively * Valid driver?s license preferred for transporting children when required *Apply Today:* If you have a passion for making a positive difference in children's lives, we would love to hear from you.
