*Position Title:* PLM Developer *Immediate Supervisor:* Business Process Manager ( and Chief Engineer ) *COMPANY* Nicholson Manufacturing Ltd. is the leading manufacturer of log debarkers, log loaders and yarders. Our equipment is used around the globe in forests, sawmills, OSB and plywood mills, and pulp mills. Established in 1948 the company operates facilities in Sidney, BC and Pell City, Alabama. The 110,000 square foot Sidney facility is a modern and complete machining, fabrication and assembly shop that builds new equipment and supports aftermarket sales and service. Employees are empowered and accountable with opportunities to learn and grow in a safe environment. *The Opportunity* We are seeking a skilled and experienced *Aras Innovator PLM Developer* (or similar) to join our dynamic team. As a PLM Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing enterprise-level applications on the PLM platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and system administrators, to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the unique requirements of our organization. *Essential Duties & Responsibilities* * Customization and Development ? Design, develop and implement custom solutions on the PLM platform to meet business needs by customizing the applications using C#, AML, XML, and other relevant technologies. * Workflow and Data Modeling ? Define and implement workflows and data models to optimize business processes. Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective data models. * Integration ? Integrate the PLM platform with other enterprise systems using REST and SOAP web services. Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between the PLM platform and external applications. * User Interface (UI) Enhancements ? Develop and enhance the user interface of the PLM platform using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS while ensuring a user-friendly and efficient experience for end-users. * Database Management ? Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to interact with the underlying database. Perform database-related tasks such as data migration, transformation, and maintenance. * Testing and Debugging ? Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure functionality and performance. Debug and resolve issues in a timely manner, collaborating with the departments as needed. * Documentation ? Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design and specifications, and coding standards. Provide training and support documentation for end-users. * Added Asset: Salesforce development work by being proficient in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components, to create and optimize server-side logic, triggers, and user interfaces. Strong expertise in Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and Object Search Language (SOSL) for effective data retrieval and manipulation. *Skills* * *PLM Software development experience (Aras preferred )* * Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill, Oracle, SAP, etc. will be consider * Strong proficiency in C#, AML, XML, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS * Experience with relational databases and SQL * Familiarity with web services (REST, SOAP) and integration techniques * Experience with Agile development methodology (SAFe, Scrum, etc) and Agile project management tools. Azure DevOps preferred. * Experience with cloud-based systems development and management * Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills * Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment * Efficiently plan time to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines * Demonstrated ability to take ownership and responsibility for assigned tasks * Demonstrated detail oriented and organized work- LocationSidney, BC
