Job details
· Receive claims on rotation, complete inspections, arrange for emergency work as needed
· Produce estimates and updates in accordance with client/insurance protocols
· Responsible for the creation of the project production schedule
· Data entry of notes, files, documents, pictures (compliance tasks always up to date)
· Review XactAnalysis and make sure all notes and timelines are being updated and met
· Get jobs sold ? for repairs ? once emergency work is completed
· Complete job work orders for all repairs and arrange for materials and subcontractors as needed
· Determine resource requirements to successfully execute projects within the scope of estimate
· Manage assigned jobs from beginning to end ensuring customer satisfaction at completion and throughout project
· Work with chosen trades and staff to ensure timely delivery of projects
· Work within parameters of project budget
· Ensure appropriate paperwork is completed within required timeframes
· Follow-up with contractors, clients, customers, adjusters, and staff daily
· Assist with other projects for vacation coverage and other circumstances as required
· Review job costs/invoices and provide approvals
· Communicate with management team to ensure major issues are resolved in a team environment
· Ordering and organization of materials for multiple job sites
· Handle and resolve customer issues expeditiously on assigned files or assist with others
· Identify and communicate opportunities for improved service and efficiency
· Build and maintain relationships within the industry
· Some time at trade shows and other trade related events will be required
· Some travel as required
· Experience in general contracting and managing larger new builds an asset
· 3+ years of experience as a Restoration Project Manager or in a similar role considered an asset
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to work independently
· Excellent time management skills
· Strong computer skills - Internet, Intranet, Excel, Office Suite
· Attention to detail and great organizational and analytical skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Knowledge of the regulatory requirements and practices in the insurance/restoration industry
Licence/Certification:
· Ontario Driver?s License (required)
