 Worker Type:Permanent Language(s) Required:English Salary Range (plus eligible to receive a performance based incentive, applicable to position) :$103,331 - $139,803 Professional appraisal designation rewarded:Be part of our national valuation team and help mitigate credit risk by estimating security values for large, complex commercial, industrial and agricultural properties. You’ll work closely with partners from FCC lending, loan administration and special credit teams. What you’ll do:Appraise agricultural, commercial and industrial real and personal propertiesDevelop strategies for specific appraisal situationsBuild and maintain relationships with external partners, including appraisal professionalsDevelop and update valuation processesProvide formal valuation training and coaching to colleaguesConduct market research and analysis on sales for the Farmland Values Report and Valuation Guides What we’re looking for:Confident communicator comfortable with different audiences on a geographically dispersed teamRelationship-builder who embraces changeAnalytical thinker with sound business judgmentCommitment to delivering excellent service and qualityTeam player dedicated to helping others succeed What you’ll need:A bachelor’s degree in agriculture, finance or commerce and at least four years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)Professional appraisal designationExperience performing complex commercial and agricultural property appraisalsKnowledge of environmental issues and trendsUnderstanding of leading-edge technologiesIn-depth knowledge of appraisal principles and theories- LocationGuelph, ON
