Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Work setting: Rural area. Various locations. Tasks: Install equipment. Maintain equipment. Test power equipment and systems . Assist in design, development and testing. Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports. Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments. Carry out applied research in fields of electrical and electronic engineering and physics. Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems. Complete work orders, test and maintenance reports. Computer and technology knowledge: Internet. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
