Job Summary: We are seeking a part time experienced Electrical Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment. Your expertise in detecting and troubleshooting electrical issues. Duties: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes - Perform routine inspections to identify potential electrical problems and recommend appropriate solutions - Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using various diagnostic tools and techniques - Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals - Collaborate with other technicians to fabricate custom electrical components and panels as needed - Conduct preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance - Assist with the installation and programming of industrial control systems - Utilize AutoCAD software to design electrical layouts for new installations or modifications - Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any electrical issues in a timely manner - May include some travel Skills: - Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety procedures - Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical malfunctions - Experience working with industrial electrician tools and equipment - Familiarity with reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals - Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and procedures - Ability to fabricate custom electrical components as needed - Proficient in using AutoCAD software for designing electrical layouts - Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients - Start up, commissioning and fire testing of boilers a great asset If you are a skilled Electrical Technician looking for a challenging role in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply.
