Tripshepherd?s tech ecosystem includes the *Tripshepherd app* (for travelers), the *Guide app* (for local hosts and creators), the *Boat app* (a backend dashboard for admin, guest services, and operations), and our *website*. These components are powered by a sophisticated technology stack that blends scalability, flexibility, and analytics to connect locals with travelers and promote meaningful, two-way engagement. We?re seeking a visionary *Chief Technology Officer (CTO)* to drive the development of a product that transforms how people explore the world. You?ll lead technological innovation, AI integration, and scalable infrastructure to build a seamless, impactful platform that empowers travel creators and connects travelers meaningfully with destinations. *The Opportunity* As CTO, you?ll be the technical architect behind our platform, defining the technology roadmap, building an exceptional engineering team, and ensuring the seamless delivery of AI-powered and community-driven features across the Tripshepherd app, Guide app, Boat app, and website. Working closely with the Head of Product, you?ll bring to life a platform where Tripshepherds can offer unique content?custom maps, exclusive tours, restaurant recommendations?and travelers can experience destinations in ways that benefit both the locale and its people. In this role, you?ll lead the strategy for scaling our tech infrastructure to support our global growth, leveraging a modern stack of cloud-based, serverless, and data-driven technologies to build a product that fosters positive relationships between locals and travelers. *Key Responsibilities* ? *Technology Vision & Roadmap*: Define and execute a technology roadmap that supports scalable, secure, and impactful growth across all components (Tripshepherd app, Guide app, Boat app, and website). Leverage cloud and serverless technologies to ensure platform flexibility and performance. ? *AI Integration & Personalization*: Lead the integration of AI to deliver personalized travel experiences. Build AI-driven tools that allow Tripshepherds to offer unique insights and recommendations in real time. ? *Platform Scalability & Reliability*: Architect a reliable, scalable, and secure platform capable of supporting a growing community of travelers and creators across multiple platforms. ? *Product Development & Engineering Leadership*: Build and lead a world-class engineering team, fostering a collaborative, innovative culture. Oversee product development from ideation to execution, ensuring the balance of short-term goals with long-term growth. ? *Data-Driven Decision Making*: Use data analytics and machine learning to improve platform performance and user engagement. Drive product refinement through insights that enhance local-traveler relationships and positively impact destinations. ? *Cross-Functional Collaboration*: Partner with the Head of Product, marketing, and operations to deliver a cohesive product experience. Ensure technology solutions support the needs of creators, travelers, and the business. ? *Community & Content-Driven Innovation*: Develop features that empower Tripshepherds to create community-driven, monetizable content that benefits destinations.
