*Overview* We are seeking a skilled Truck and Trailer Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Truck and trailer repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires hands-on experience with various types of vehicles and machinery. The truck and trailer Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our fleet. *Responsibilities* * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles and machinery. * Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and diagnostic tools. * Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they become serious. * Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems. * Weld components as necessary to ensure structural integrity. * Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed. * Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively as required. * Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and efficiency. * Adhere to safety protocols while working with industrial equipment. *Qualifications* * Proven experience in truck repair and maintenance. * Familiarity with schematics and diagnostic tools for troubleshooting. * Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for repairs and maintenance tasks. * Experience with welding techniques is a plus. * Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is desirable. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Valid driver's license is required.
