Job Description Currently, the centre has a need for a person who is passionate about helping students learn the foundational knowledge and skills needed for future academic success. As a classroom marking assistant you will be responsible for \* Accurate marking of class work \* Assessing oral reading skills and model read where necessary \* Support centre operations as needed \* Help Instructor with data entry, grading and other administrative tasks \* Provide thoughtful feedback about students performance to the instructor in written format \* Perform other duties as required Why join the Kumon Centre of Orangeville The centre of Orangeville, provides an academic enrichment program for students ranging in age from pre-school to high school. Key qualifications include \* A passion for working with and developing young minds \* Excellent interpersonal communication skills with both adults and children \* High school Diploma or HS taking advanced courses (college experience with early education courses a plus) \* Desire to help children learn, and patience to work with while they develop the skills to focus and complete their work \* Excellent Math skills and strong grasp of English language both spoken and written. Must be able to pass a written Advanced Functions math test (without a calculator) to qualify for interview.
