Jai Yoga Studio is a family-owned yoga studio located at 140-1140 Austin Avenue in Coquitlam, British Columbia. We offer a variety of authentic Indian style yoga classes, including Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative Yoga, suitable for practitioners of all levels. Our studio emphasizes traditional Indian yoga practices and philosophy, aiming to integrate mind and body within a nurturing environment. We also provide yoga teacher training programs and host workshops to deepen students' practice. We are looking for passionate yoga instructors who would like to connect and join the Jai Yoga Family of teachers! *Expectations:* * Be a certified *yoga instructor* and be able to lead some all or some of the following types of classes types: Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga or Power Yoga * Being able to teach Yin Yoga and Restorative Yoga is a bonus * Having completed a 200 hour YTT from a certified school is a MUST * You must have your own $2 million commercial liability insurance (or be willing to get this before you begin teaching with us) * Excellent ability to lead a 60 minute class confidently and clearly * Good communication interpersonal skills * YOU are the FACE of Jai Yoga Studio * Offer an experience, not a class. * Truly own the class * Play awesome music * Show up on time before a class and be there for students after each class * Input attendance data for each class * Provide feedback (from you or the students) to us to make the class better * *Experience is not necessary, but an open mind and a drive to be of service to others through yoga is a must!* *What we will offer you: * * $30 per class * Opportunities to run workshops and events through us with a 60% / 40% split of profit (60% is yours to take home) * Opportunities to rent the studio space for your events or private yoga classes at a subsidized rate of $40 per hour (normally charged at $60 for non-teachers) * Free, unlimited membership at Jai Yoga Studio * 20% teachers discount off retail items, teacher trainings and workshops * 10% friends and family discount for yoga class memberships *How to Apply: * * Send your resume or certifications * Tell us what is your availability to teach, i.e. what days and times suit you best * Tell us what kind of class do you love to teach Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 1 ? 4 per week Additional pay: * Bonus pay Benefits: * On-site parking Application question(s): * Was your 200 hour YTT online or in-person?
