*Civil/Municipal Design Engineer* We are looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented Civil/Municipal Design Engineer with an understanding of the various municipal civil engineering disciplines to join our friendly, fast-paced, and growing workplace. The successful candidate will be joining a team-oriented atmosphere that is respectful of work-life balance. This candidate will need a strong understanding of the municipal civil engineering environment and apply your design background to various municipal infrastructure projects including drainage, water mains, sewers, roads, and site development. Your experience and understanding of municipal civil engineering will be an asset in providing new services to existing clients and developing business opportunities with new clients. You will help in the advancement of projects through the concept, design, and construction phases. We are a strong advocate of a team-centric approach to undertaking projects and solving problems. *Requirements:* * A University Degree in Civil Engineering (from a recognized University engineering program) or equivalent degree program and practical experience in the Civil Engineering discipline * Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation; or at a minimum, enrolment in the Engineering Intern Program (E.I.T.) would be preferred * Minimum of *4 years of relatable engineering work experience in Canada* * Proficient use of the following software: *AutoCAD Civil 3D* and Microsoft Office * An understanding and commitment to *CAD standards and procedures* * Strong oral and written communication skills * Strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented * *A good problem-solving capability, able to identify alternative solutions* * An innovative and analytical approach to providing solutions, and a *desire to work collaboratively as part of a highly skilled team* * Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure * An understanding of municipal civil infrastructure construction methods * Knowledge of Hydrological modelling and other design-based software is an asset * Valid Ontario driver's licence Position and salary will be based on education level and work experience Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: * Dental care * Extended health care * On-site parking * Paid time off * RRSP match * Vision care Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Day shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Ability to commute/relocate: * Kingsville, ON N9Y 1E1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Education: * Bachelor's Degree (required) Experience: * Stormwater/Sanitation infrastructure: 4 years (required) * Civil 3D: 4 years (required) * Infrastructure: 4 years (required) Work Location: In person- LocationKingsville, ON
