We are currently looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and qualified teacher to join our team. Qualifications: · Registered Early Childhood Education Diploma (RECE) and be in good standing with the college of ECE?s · Experience in a Montessori school setting is an asset · Current and clear Criminal Reference & Vulnerable Sector Checks. · Valid CPR/ First Aid certification ? Level C · Updated Immunization Record Skills: · Passion for working with children · Can communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues · Strong interpersonal skills · Ability to work effectively individually and within a team setting · Possesses strong leadership and organizational skills · Experience with planning and implementing programs Job Responsibilities: · Meticulously manage the day-to- day operations of the classroom including, but not limited to: lesson instruction, daily recording, diapering, playground supervision, etc. · Maintain a hygienic, neat, prepared and organized environment consistent with the Montessori pedagogy · Develop effective relationships with parents and communicate with them daily · Provide a program that complies with Ministry of Education requirements for licensed programming while incorporating Montessori Pedagogy · Maintain professionalism, confidentiality and courtesy at all times · Demonstrate sound knowledge of all relevant sections of the Child Care & Early Years Act The school provides a competitive salary range, and a comprehensive benefits package.
