Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Motor vehicles. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products. Professionalism in customer service. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Assemble, install and set-up merchandise/products. Transport and handle dangerous goods. Load and unload goods. Use maps and other trip planning aids. Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs and any problems. Pay and receive payments for goods. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles). Transportation/travel experience: Local. Provincial/territorial. Transportation/travel information: Vehicle supplied by employer. Willing to travel for extended periods. Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Overtime required. Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs). Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Gloves. Uniform. Personal suitability: Client focus. Efficient interpersonal skills.
