*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Butcher to join our team in the food industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of meat processing and fabrication, ensuring high-quality cuts of meat while adhering to food safety standards. This role requires mechanical knowledge and an ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Fabricate and cut various types of meat according to specifications and customer requests. * Sanitate work areas, tools, and equipment to maintain a clean and safe working environment. * Package meat products for sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation. * Follow food safety protocols to ensure the quality and safety of all products handled. * Operate and maintain butcher equipment, demonstrating mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting as needed. * Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and maintain high standards of quality. *Requirements* * Proven experience as a butcher or in a similar role within the food processing industry is preferred. * Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food safety regulations. * Mechanical knowledge related to the operation of butchering equipment is a plus. * Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. * Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as required.
