<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p>Registered Early Childhood Educator <br />3 Positions available starting now!</p><p>1 Full Time Registered Early Childhood Educator to LEAD a toddler classroom.</p><p>1 Full Time Registered Early Childhood Educator to SUPPORT a toddler room.</p><p>1 Part Time or Supply Registered Early Childhood Educator to SUPPORT all classrooms as required and cover lunches.</p><p>Full time and part time positions available.</p><p>Pay starting at $18/hr plus wage enhancement and GOG (approx $40-50k/yr for FT) health/dental benefits, quarterly staff perks, tuition reimbursement, positive and supportive team environment. </p><p>Duties:</p><p>Responsible for planning and implementing learning activities and providing a wide range of stimulating material.</p><p>Responsible for organizing the learning environment and overseeing activities that foster all areas of the child's emotional, cognitive, social and physical development. This includes play-based learning programs and small or large group activities.</p><p>Plan and organize activities for children.</p><p>Assist in record keeping and help maintain the equipment.</p><p>Plan and maintain a high-quality environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children.</p><p>Assess the abilities, interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members.</p><p>Required to submit written observations on children.</p><p>Support children in the development of their self-help skills and independence.</p><p>Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.</p><p>Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required.</p><p>Work in partnership to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.</p><p>Other duties as assigned.</p><p>Requirements:</p><p>Must be registered with and in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators- RECE</p><p>Certified in Standard First Aid and CPR training level C</p><p>Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Criminal Check</p><p>Medical clearance and up to date immunizations</p><p>Working knowledge of ELECT and How Does Learning Happen</p><p>Candidates should possess the ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and be able to work as part of committed and dedicated team</p><p>Commitment to working in a socially inclusive environment responding with sensitivity and personal awareness to the diverse needs of members including visible and non visible dimensions of diversity.</p><p>Expected start date: immediately or within 2 weeks</p></div></div>- LocationTottenham, ON
