*Job Title:* Brazilian JiuJitsu Instructor *Location:* Impact Martial Arts, Edmonton, Alberta *Position Type:* Full-Time (30-40 hours per week) *Overview:* Impact Martial Arts is seeking a dedicated and experienced Brazilian JiuJitsu Instructor to lead and oversee our growing BJJ program. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for teaching, strong technical skills, and the ability to manage the quality and structure of our classes. This role requires an individual who is committed to fostering a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment for students of all ages and skill levels. *Key Responsibilities:* * Lead and instruct Brazilian JiuJitsu classes for adults, teens, and children, providing high-quality coaching and guidance. * Develop and implement structured class plans to ensure effective learning and progression for all students. * Oversee the day-to-day operation of the BJJ program, including maintaining quality standards and ensuring consistency across all classes. * Provide mentorship and guidance to assistant instructors, helping them improve their coaching skills. * Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the gym, including regular cleaning duties and equipment maintenance. * Monitor student progress and offer constructive feedback to help them reach their goals. * Assist in promoting the BJJ program through participation in community events, demonstrations, and social media initiatives. *Qualifications:* * 3rd Degree Black Belt (or higher) in Brazilian JiuJitsu with a minimum of 10 years of teaching experience. * Strong understanding of BJJ techniques, training methods, and competition rules. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with students of all ages and skill levels. * Experience in managing or overseeing martial arts programs is preferred. * A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude. *Benefits:* * Competitive hourly pay. * Opportunities for career growth within our expanding martial arts academy. * Supportive and collaborative work environment.
