Gitwangak Education Society (GES) invites resume packages for a full-time-After School Tutor for grade 8- 10 students and Grade 11-12 <p>This is a full-time appointment from September 2021 - March 2022.<p> <p>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: <p><p> Have (but not limited to) a BC teaching Certificate in good standing; or letter of permission <p> Professional development certificates <p> Experience in tutoring high school students in a variety of subjects <p><p> <p>Related Experience: <p><p> Tutoring all subjects to grade 11 to 12 students<p> Promote high expectations and academic achievement for all students in a safe and nurturing environment<p> To assist the students in achieving their current grade level<p> Ability to incorporate innovative ideas and creativity in the classroom<p> Differentiates curriculum expectations and teaching strategies to meet the needs of all students<p> Must have exceptional Computer Skills and knowledge of computer programs<p> Manage student behaviour in the classroom incorporating school-wide rules and discipline policy<p> Experience and knowledge with special needs students <p> Be a team player and work with all staff in a positive manner and provide support as needed<p> Exceptional inter-personal skills and particularly those related to parent/community involvement <p> Responsible for creating weekly snack menu, purchasing food/drinks weekly, cooking snacks daily<p> <p> Please mail/ e-mail: cover letter, resume, BC Teaching Certificate, certificates, references, Criminal Record and supporting documents to: <p> Gitwangak Education Society, Attn: Lesley Morgan<p> P.O.
